Delivery & In-Store Collection
Delivery Time frame
How long it takes for your item to arrive depends completely on what type of item you have purchased and whether or not we have it in stock. If you need something by a particular date it is best to call us first and double check that it will be possible.
Custom made items including Upload, Print & Frame and any Framed Art Prints are made to order in our Orange NSW workshop. The process can be expected to take up to two weeks from the date of order. Generally we will always try to have the correct moulding options on hand, but occasionally late deliveries can make us short on stock, which may extend this production period. If your item is going to take longer than usual to be made we will be in touch and let you now.
Original Artwork from any of our featured artists will not be delivered via regular mail services due to the risk of damage. In the check-out you will be given the option of collection in either our Orange or Bathurst showrooms. If the artwork is currently in the showroom you have selected you will be able to collect immediately. If the artwork is in our other showroom we will transport it across for you usually within 3 working days. After you have completed the purchase we will contact you to let you know when the artwork can be collected. If you are unable to collect in store, please contact us before ordering for a courier quote to your location.
Ready made items such as Stock Frames depend on availability. We try to keep numerous copies of each item in stock and these are posted within 5 working days of receiving an order. Occasionally we can be out of stock of a particular item in which case we need to wait for delivery from our supplier. Generally this will take about a week to arrive at our showroom, and we will then endeavor to post out as soon as we can.
Items are delivered via Australia Post and the delivery time can vary depending on the size of the item and your location. In general, packages will take 4-14 days once posted to arrive at your location.
Please note we will not be liable for late deliveries past these expected times. If you require something by a particular date it is best to contact us before ordering to ensure it will be possible. Frame Effect will also not be liable for packages lost by Australia Post.
Postage costs are calculated by item weight and size. If you want to know how much the items in your cart will cost to deliver, simply go through the check-out process until you reach the delivery screen.
All items come with the option of free in-store pick up. We will contact you when your item is ready for collection. If you need a ready-made item immediately after purchasing it online, it is best to call us first to double check that we have it in stock. Occasionally we will need to transfer from our other showroom, or we could be awaiting delivery from our supplier, but we will usually have it for you within a week if not already in stock.
Frame Effect are based in Australia, however we are happy to ship items internationally. To check the cost please go through the checkout process until you reach the delivery stage, and it will give you the price of delivery to your location. If it does not give you the option for delivery, please contact us and we can give you a quote.
Please be aware that all items will be charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of a 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax).
As our items are custom made to order we will not offer any returns for change of mind, unwanted gifts, or due to small variations in colour.
Any correctly supplied item will not be refunded or exchanged, as such is it up to you to ensure you select the correct sizes and colours when adding an item to your cart.
We will gladly offer a refund or exchange if the item is drastically different from how we described it online, has been made in the incorrect size or colour chosen (as can be seen on the confirmation email), or if it is damaged.
In the unlikely event that your item needs to be returned, please inform us within 48 hours making sure you retain all packaging. Please call our Orange store on (02) 6361 4222 or send us an email so that we can discuss the problem with you.
It would help us if you could provide photographic evidence via email, to confirm incorrect item, or to prove damage so that we can make a claim with our courier. If you are unable to send photographic evidence via email we may ask you to return the goods, at our expense, for inspection. Once we have inspected the goods we will then replace them for you to the exact specifications as your original order.
